LUCKI Is Giving His Day-One Fans the Last Laugh With New Archive Project

Some artists have fans. Others have entire communities dedicated to tracking down every unreleased record, snippet, and song that never made it to streaming. LUCKI happens to have the latter.

The Chicago rapper is preparing to release Last Laugh on October 16, and this time, he's digging into the archives. According to a press announcement distributed by Audible Treats on October 13, the project collects previously unreleased music, well-known leaks, and favorite snippets from sessions spanning roughly a decade.

Among the recordings expected to receive an official streaming release are “60mgs,” “Overseas,” and “What It Is.” Longtime listeners have traded and discussed some of these songs for years, making the project a chance to revisit the sounds that helped build the rapper's dedicated following.

The announcement follows a busy 2026. His May album Dr*gs R Bad debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200, according to the publicity materials, and he spent the summer performing on the Bad* Influence Tour. The new project's artwork, created by Kodone, reportedly references different chapters of LUCKI's career.

Last Laugh isn't simply another album announcement. It's also a reminder that for some artists, the unofficial catalog becomes an important part of the official story. Sometimes the songs fans remember most are the ones that haven't yet been released.
