Symba Brings West Coast G-Funk to The Drop With Ruff & Tuff

FX's The Drop: A Snowfall Saga has a new G-Funk-inspired soundtrack entry with Ruff & Tuff, featuring Demario Symba Driver, who also portrays Tip Toe in the series. The track was produced by Larrance Rance 1500 Dopson, with lyrics by Jason Problem Martin, and samples Parliament's Flash Light. The soundtrack is scheduled for October 28, following the series' October 27 season finale. The accompanying Behind The Beat series offers a look into the music-making process. The release bridges the show's storytelling with a West Coast musical tradition. Source: FX / Hollywood Records publicity release distributed by Audible Treats, October 21, 2026.
